Recognizing an opportunity to help businesses establish a strong brand identity, Masego began pitching his services and received positive feedback.
As a young entrepreneur, he faced several challenges, including access to funding and resources. Despite complying with requirements from institutions, responses were often delayed or non-existent. Additionally, securing branding resources and advanced equipment hindered the growth of his business.
Despite these challenges, Camlife Production has created employment opportunities, with one permanent employee and casual staff contributing to projects. Masego’s business has not only grown but has also made a positive impact on the community.
His advice for young people who want to start businesses is invaluable. He emphasizes the importance of continuous learning, consistency, and research. “Commit to continuous learning and stay curious,” he says. “Be consistent—small, steady efforts compound into big results. Research your industry and understand your business deeply. Stay grounded in your purpose, especially during tough times. Surround yourself with like-minded people who challenge and inspire you to grow.”
