Kedibone Lepogo, a 37-year-old woman from Limpopo, was found dead under a truck in Ledig where she used to stay. Her body was discovered naked and abandoned, shocking the community.

Justah Mojapelo, the deceased”s uncle said the family is devastated by her passing. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our daughter. We were looking up to seeing her grow and achieve more things in her life. She was friendly, a bubbly person who loved people and made others happy, always laughing.”

Kedibone was a mother to two children who are not coping with their mother’s brutal death.

According to reports, Kedibone was last seen at a local tavern where she had been socializing with friends. Two individuals, a man and a woman from Lesotho, were taken in for questioning by police. They were charged with immigration offenses and released on a fine, confirming they had left Kedibone at the traven.

The deceased’s friend Sina Zenzile says she’s deeply hurt: “She’s someone who lived closely with us in Ledig. What happened is really hard to accept.”

GBV activist, Babiki Tsheilane has urged police to make efforts and ensure that justice is served, saying enough is enough, especially with the growing number of GBV cases.

Kedibone will be buried on Saturday in Limpopo. The case has raised concerns about safety in the area, with calls for authorities to take action and ensure justice is served.
The police investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made yet. The community is up in arms, demanding justice.
