The condition of roads in several communities across the Moses Kotane Sub-Region has come under renewed scrutiny, with the Bophuthatswana Civil Movement (BCM) raising concerns about the impact of poor road infrastructure, particularly during the rainy season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movement highlighted areas including Uitkyk, Mogopa, Mmasebudule, Madikwe and Pitsidisulejang, where it says communities continue to experience poor and inadequate roads.According to the BCM, residents in these communities have faced challenges with road infrastructure for approximately 30 years under the current administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movement says the lack of proper roads affects more than transportation, arguing that reliable infrastructure is essential for connecting communities, improving access to essential services and supporting local economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe people of Moses Kotane deserve proper roads and infrastructure that connect communities, improve access to essential services, and support economic development,\u201d the BCM said.With the 2026 Local Government Elections approaching, the BCM is calling on residents of Moses Kotane to carefully consider their voting choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movement is appealing to voters to support a government that, in its view, will listen to communities and prioritise their needs.The BCM says its formation is aimed at reviving communities, restoring dignity and improving the quality of services delivered to residents.\u201cTogether, we can demand better infrastructure. Together, we can rebuild our communities,\u201d the movement said.The BCM is expected to continue engaging communities on infrastructure and service delivery issues as the local government elections approach.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
